What are we known for?
Danielle Caldwell Events is all about customer service. Our goal is to ensure that the details that matter most to our client are carried out. During our first initial meeting, we ask our clients to share the two most important details to them. This could be regarding timeline, guest services, vendor details, etc. From that moment on our approach is to ensure those items are carried out while also bringing their vision to life. You will never wait more than 48 hours for a response. We go the extra mile for all of our clients. If we think another vendor needs to be pulled in or that an item requires more attention, the attention is given. Even if it requires us driving to get rentals or having an additional meeting. In our world, the event starts the moment the client gains access to the venue and doesn't end until every last vendor leaves. This is also why all of our packages include a full day.
What happens after we are hired?
After the contract is signed and deposit is made we schedule a time to get together and discuss all the details. You will also receive a welcome packet via email from us with a wedding timeline (12 month guideline). During our meeting we will go over what has been confirmed, items that need to be worked on, create the first draft of your Day-of Timeline, address any concerns, give recommendations as needed, and discuss anything else that requires attention. In addition, we will gather all your vendor contact information and contracts. Why? We want to ensure you are covered. Details are important to us and we leave no stone unturned. After we receive the information requested, we reach out to all your vendors to introduce ourselves, gather their availability for a site walkthrough, and send them the first draft of the Day-Of timeline. From there on we are in constant contact with all parties involved to ensure the timeline comes together.
About 1 week out we will have a site walk through and go over the timeline in detail. During that meeting we ensure the venue diagram is to your liking and that your vendors have everything they need. Each vendor is given a packet that includes the timeline, diagrams, contact lists, and any other information we feel is important. If you feel that any changes need to be made, we are there to support you.
The day before (or whenever the rehearsal is scheduled) we are there to do a run through of the show. This is to make sure everyone knows where to go and is comfortable. Normally these last about 45 minutes to an hour. On the day of, we arrive when the venue gives us access and are there from the beginning to the end. If there were any edits to the documents, we handover updated details to the vendors. Our day ends when the last guests leave and vendors are all cleaned up.
Partial Planning and Complete Wedding Package:
Our Partial and Complete packages are similar yet slightly different. This is mainly due to the fact we are working with you to select most if not all of your vendors. Therefore instead of creating your timeline during our first official meeting, we will be going through those final steps about 1-2 months out.
What does the CMP stand for?
CMP stands for Certified Meeting Planner. It is a recognition from the Convention Industry Council that someone has worked in the event industry for multiple years, has received a Certificate in Meetings and Special Events from a accredited school and has passed a written test. Danielle, the owner of Danielle Caldwell Events achieved this designation in 2011 and again renewed the designation in 2017 by showing she is still very active in the events industry by her continued work, attending conferences and taking courses to stay up to date on industry trends.
Do you have a list of preferred vendors?
We have worked with many vendors at all different price points and love to recommend the ones that provide high quality work. When we give recommendations we base it on what details are most important, your vision, and budget. Most importantly though, we will give you options as every client has their own style.
