Haley and Timothy met at a bar in Montauk. They loved the area so much that they wanted to get married there! They reached out to inquire about our team’s wedding coordination services, and we had a great time getting to know each other. Haley and Tim love camping, so they landed on a French picnic-inspired theme for the day with a laidback, bohemian feel. Backyard Wedding in Montauk

Before their ceremony, Haley and Tim handwrote their vows and read them to each other in private. In the shade of a centuries-old tree, they grasped each other’s hands and shared their promises. We love a “first touch” as an alternative to the popular first look! The smile on Tim’s face when he saw Haley walking down the aisle was all the proof we needed that they made the right choice for them.

Their ceremony, beneath a natural wood arbor, was short but sweet. Destination Haus decorated the area with rattan rugs carpeted the aisle, while clear vases filled with pampas grass lined either side. The minimal, earthy color palette was perfect for the simplicity of the backyard setting. Afterward, Haley and Tim trekked to the Montauk Lighthouse with their photographer! Haley’s grandfather loved lighthouses, so she was committed to taking photos there in honor of his memory. She and Tim are always smiling and laughing together, and All in White captured their dynamic beautifully.

Boho Picnic-Style Reception

Haley gathered inspiration from the blog Over the Moon for the couple’s reception design. A French, Victorian-era picnic was our starting point, with a contemporary boho twist! Destination Haus arranged a low table draped in white linens and surrounded it with green–and-white patterned cushions so guests could get cozy as they ate. Then, they arranged a whimsical tablescape with sage green chargers, gold cutlery, and white candles. Bud vases with anemones and garden roses that looked freshly picked were the perfect finishing touch.

As dusk fell, the couple and their guests dined on seasonal fare from Montauk Catering Co. The warm, family-style atmosphere was just as Haley and Tim had pictured it! Nothing is more rewarding than seeing our clients’ visions come to life—it’s why we do what we do!
