But as if by a twist of fate, they stumbled upon the gorgeous grounds of Chelsea Mansion, and just like that, everything changed. It was not just a venue to them; it was love at first sight. As their wedding planner, I was thrilled to bring their vision of a wedding at Chelsea Mansion into reality. Their wedding day kicked off bright and clear, filled with anticipation and excitement. Christiana was a vision of bridal beauty, and her stunning floral dress was a sight to behold. I love it when my couples choose to express their style on the wedding day! While her dress was light and whimsical, Daniel wore sharp black and white attire.

The First Look Before Their Wedding at Chelsea Mansion

In the quiet garden of Chelsea Mansion, Christiana and Daniel enjoyed their first look. It was a peaceful moment, almost as if time stood still, with everything else fading into the background. They looked into each other’s eyes, emotions running high, and felt their deep connection. This particular moment, now saved in photographs, hinted at the lovely times they were yet to experience together. As a wedding planner, I’m not always there for these moments, but they are some of my favorite photos to receive from the photographers!

The Wedding Ceremony at Chelsea Mansion

As guests found their places, the air was softly filled with their quartet's melodies, creating a sense of magic, and in the center of it all stood a stunning clear wedding arch. It was adorned with a square frame with delicate white flowers and baby's breath (the bride’s favorite!) along the top and in each corner, showcasing Christiana and Daniel's impeccable taste and the heartfelt simplicity of their love. They chose to arrange the ceremony uniquely, with the arch at the heart of it all and seating for guests in the outer four corners. We may be biased, but this untraditional look was SO refreshing! Christiana designed the guest seating areas to beautifully mirror the arch, with lush white flowers and baby's breath, tying the whole setting together in a cohesive and all-encompassing way.

Moreover, their ceremony woven Russian and Jewish traditions in a beautiful blend, a nod to their rich backgrounds and the new path they were stepping onto together. Underneath the floral arch, their vows were exchanged, each word heavy with meaning and promise, in front of their visibly moved family and friends. The atmosphere was electric with emotion, each moment captured and cherished against the enchanting setup we had so thoughtfully designed together.

The Wedding Reception at Chelsea Mansion

We transformed Chelsea Mansion’s outdoor tented space into a dreamy paradise for the reception. NE Flower Boutique hung baby’s breath flowers in gorgeous bunches from above. The live band ignited the evening with energy, fulfilling Christiana and Daniel’s wish for their guests to dance, eat, and drink in abundance. Laughter and music filled the air, setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

The reception tables were arranged with tall crystal vases of white florals and lush greenery, highlighting the evening’s elegance and the couple’s impeccable taste! Yet, the creative flair of napkins added a unique touch to the setting, a nod to the couple's desire for a wedding that was indeed their own.

As a wedding planner, being part of Christiana and Daniel’s wedding was an honor and a joy. Their day was a testament to their love and a celebration of cultures, traditions, and the beginning of a new chapter.
