In this post, I’m sharing a closer look at how we designed and curated their wedding weekend, from the mood boards to the magic. If you’re planning your own celebration at Oheka Castle (or just love a good dose of wedding inspiration), you’re in the right place.

Welcome Party
Before their wedding at Oheka Castle, we kicked off Caroline and Scott weekend with an unforgettable event. The welcome party at Bryant Park Grill was a gathering full of laughter, champagne, and heartfelt reunions, setting a joyful tone for the days ahead. Later in the evening, we took the celebration on a whimsical tone with a fun carousel ride. Under twinkling lights, guests toasted, danced, and savoured the moment's magic, a perfect prelude to the grandeur that lay ahead.

Getting Ready for a Wedding at Oheka Castle
The morning of their wedding at Oheka Castle began with calm joy and quiet anticipation. In a sunlit suite, Caroline stepped into her structured gown, timeless and tailored, surrounded by her mom, sister, and bridesmaids in black silk pajamas. Nearby, Scott suited up in a classic tux, the warm wood-panelled room echoing the sophistication of the day.
Every moment, from the bride’s emerald ring to the groom’s quiet smile, felt like a still from a love story, beautifully intimate and full of meaning. As their wedding planner, it was incredibly special to help bring that vision to life and witness the day unfold with so much genuine love, joy, and intention.
First Look at Oheka Castle
Before their wedding at Oheka Castle officially began, Caroline and Scott shared a private first look in the castle’s wood-paneled library. Framed by vintage books and soft golden light, the moment was quiet, emotional, and deeply personal.
Caroline approached in her satin gown, and as Scott turned to see his bride, everything paused. With smiles, tears, and a few whispered words, they soaked in the joy ahead.
What They Wore
Caroline's wedding day look was the definition of modern classic. She wore a structured satin gown with cap sleeves, a gently scooped neckline, and a row of delicate buttons trailing down the back, timeless and tailored, yet completely her own. She paired it with a dramatic cathedral-length veil and a bold emerald ring, adding a personal touch of color and heirloom charm. Her look was finished with sleek heels and soft waves, striking a perfect balance between elegance and ease.
Scott complemented her style effortlessly in a sharp black tuxedo, complete with a bow tie, crisp white shirt, and classic patent shoes. His look was polished and traditional, but his relaxed confidence made it feel fresh and modern.
Together, their style set the tone for the day: refined, intentional, and full of personality. From the first look to the final dance, they looked as radiant and relaxed as they felt.
Ceremony at Oheka Castle
One of the most breathtaking moments of the wedding at Oheka Castle unfolded in its formal European-style gardens. With symmetrical pools, manicured hedges, and soft sunlight filtering through the trees, the ceremony felt both grand and intimate.
Guests in black-tie attire watched as Caroline walked down a long, white aisle toward a floral arch, where she and Scott exchanged heartfelt vows. Their beloved cat's sweet appearance added a personal, joy-filled touch to an already unforgettable moment. It was an honor to work with Caroline and Scott to design a ceremony that felt so personal and intentional. Every detail a true reflection of their story.
Cocktail Hour After a Wedding at Oheka Castle
After the "I do’s," guests moved to the lawn, where the celebration continued under the golden afternoon light. Parasol-shaded tables, French 75s, and signature drinks named after the couple and their beloved cat, Lenny, set a stylish tone. The fashion was bold and black, the mood effortlessly chic. Oysters on ice, fresh sushi, and joyful reunions added texture to this breezy interlude.
A Grand Finale to a Wedding at Oheka Castle
As the sun dipped behind Oheka Castle, we welcomed guests into the grand ballroom for a reception that was every bit as thoughtful and intentional as the rest of the day. Candlelit tables, ivory linens, and lush white florals created a scene that felt refined, romantic, and completely inviting. Every detail was designed to reflect Caroline and Scott’s timeless style and the warm, celebratory atmosphere they envisioned.
A live big band set the tone as the couple made their entrance, spinning into their first dance with joy and ease. From there, the evening unfolded seamlessly: a beautiful dinner, heartfelt toasts, and a classic tiered cake that was just as stunning as it was delicious.
And then came the party. Packed dance floor, high energy, champagne flowing. To end the night? A surprise fireworks display that lit up the castle grounds, the perfect finale to a wedding I was so proud to plan and bring to life.
